Summary 1: The Aqueduct (Student’s draft)

The short story “The Aqueduct”by Ray Bradbury illustrates the cruelty of thirsty South people, drinking the blood of the people from the North. The story begins with the aqueduct made by Southerners from the North part to the South for receiving water. Meanwhile, a war has started in the North. In spite of this fact, the Southerners open the aqueduct and wait for water. Finally, the water comes and they are very happy although it is blood of the people from the North. The President sends a representative to make sure that the war will continue in order to supply them with the red liquid. [I would recommend a concluding sentence, emphasizing the idea you revealed in your topic sentence]

Nadia, congratulations, this is the best summary so far. Just two silly mistakes and I would recommend a concluding sentence at the end. Good luck!!!

Thank you for your advice Mrs Condrat. Next time I will do it.
