On Research

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.

Albert Einstein

This is my favourite quote on conducting a research. It is very inspiring, as if pushing you from behind to dare for more. Curiousity is a gift one should cherish throughout their entire life. It is this natural curiousity that makes you want for more. Sometimes you cannot even know for sure what exactly you are looking for, but there is this sensation that it is definitely something that you really feel you deserve.

It sounds so great “Never stop questioning”. I would adjust it a little bit to our reality and rather say “Never be afraid to question”! The daring nature of a profound question should not scare you, but incite you. It is like a game where the winner takes it all. There’s only one winner:  are you sure you don’t want be the ONE?

By the way, I forgot to mention that it is difficult, but, still, it is not impossible 🙂
